Who We Are?

Serene Surroundings Ltd was formed by a group of women who have an interest and vast experience of working within the Health and Social Care Sector. We have technical know-how and passionate about the various areas within the sector. Our understanding of the sector, realising the gaps, challenges and knowledge of what we can offer as experts hugely influenced the establishment of Serene Surroundings Ltd.

Serene Surroundings provides Residential children’s homes for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties between the ages of 11 to 17. We currently have two residential Children’s Homes, St Andrews and Hill View house. They are both warm and welcoming 2 bed accommodations. Serene Surroundings provides a high standard of accommodation and a supportive environment for the vulnerable children and young people. We provide support to our young people which include improving self-esteem, self-confidence, encourage healthier living, education and training, along with helping our community members live their lives with dignity, purpose and meaning

We are committed to safeguarding our children and their safety and security is central to everything we do. Our children and young people are able to choose how to decorate their bedrooms, choose activities they enjoy, help with food shopping and cook healthy meals every day. We always empower them to make decisions that directly affect their lives, making them feel more at home and positive about engaging with staff.

Information about this children’s home

This private home provides care for up to two children with emotional and social difficulties. There were two children living at the home at the time of this inspection. The home and the manager were registered in November 2024. This is the home’s first full inspection.
